Rebekah N MA, CCC-SLP

Speech

I currently work virtually as an SLP in the schools, working with preschool to high school students. I truly prioritize using a holistic and individualized approach of care to highlight individuals’ strengths and help them reach their fullest potential. Building a trusting relationship with my clients is my top priority because I know how critical it is for them to feel known and valued. A trusting rapport empowers and motivates them to fully engage and put in the work during sessions. I have experience working with pediatric and adult populations in clinic, hospital, and school settings, both in-person and remotely. I have assessed and provided treatment to children with articulation, language, fluency, and social skills difficulties. I also have experience assessing and providing intervention to adults with aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, language disorders, and those with memory and social skills difficulties. Additionally, I am trained/certified in Orton-Gillingham Reading Program and Orofacial-Myofunctional Therapy. I am licensed in the Virginia, California, and Michigan; and hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
