Michelle Finder MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapy

Hi! My name is Michelle, and I have been an Occupational Therapist in the Chicago area for 20 years! I love playing with children and their families to reach their goals related to their most meaningful occupations. My career journey has taken me from traditional Sensory Integration Therapy clinics to Early Intervention, a more specialized DIR/Floortime clinic, a Developmental Evaluation Team, and most currently to the school environment. Each stop has helped me learn and grow as an Occupational Therapist. I also have mentored and guided many Occupational Therapy students along the way. I have loved my journey working and playing with a variety of children and families, using play to create a fun and engaging therapeutic experience. When I am not being an OT, I am doing my other favorite full time job of being a Mom to my children and two dogs in the suburbs of Chicago.
