How can I help your child succeed?

I am a speech language pathologist currently living in Chicago, IL. I am the oldest of 4 siblings and was born and raised in Lake Forest, IL. I hold an Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator’s License with a Speech-Language Pathology (Non-teaching) endorsement, an Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations License, and my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I have a variety of experiences working in several different schools serving school-age children with mild, moderate, and severe to profound disabilities. I have experience assessing and treating a variety of communication disorders related to Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disorders. Additionally, I have experience working in the private sector targeting reading fluency with children with Dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities. Fluency disorders, such as stuttering, also hold a special place in my heart. I presented a poster presentation reflecting the results of my graduate research in the area of acquired fluency disorders at the 2016 ASHA Convention in Philadelphia. I am excited to join the innovative TherapyWorks Team!
