Occupational Therapist
Brittnay Arroliga is an occupational therapist who is passionate about improving the lives of children through play based and sensory based therapy. She loves to collaborate with parents to help their child reach their maximum potential, whether it is to improve emotional regulation, picky eating, dressing skills, handwriting, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills, etc. She loves to build a relationship with each child while learning about their favorite activities and interests in order to implement unique therapeutic activities that keep the child motivated to reach their goals. Her greatest joy is to see children feel confident and successful in their daily activities in self care, play, social participation, academics and sports.
Brittnay has worked with children with various backgrounds and diagnosis. This includes but is not limited to autism, developmental disorders, neuromuscular disorders, cognitive disorders, genetic disorders, sensory processing disorders, feeding disorders, behavioral disorders and ADHD, motor coordination deficits, handwriting deficits, retained primitive reflexes.
Currently Brittnay is working in a pediatric home health setting as well as in a pediatric outpatient clinic in Fort Worth, TX. In this capacity, Brittnay focuses on sensory processing, feeding, dressing skills, toileting, developmental delays, social skills, handwriting, self regulation, visual motor integration and postural control during functional and play activities.
Brittnay studied and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master of occupational therapy degree. Brittnay has completed continuing education in the areas of sensory processing and feeding therapy.
When not at work, Brittnay is a mom of one son. She and her husband enjoy family outings, going to church, playing outdoors, reading, and traveling.
