Brittany Yelnick, LCSW

Social Work

My professional experience as a social worker has been working with both elementary and middle school aged students that have a variety of social & emotional needs within the school system. I have significant experience with developing individual education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and 504s. I enjoy working with all populations but have a particular interest in treating children that struggle with managing their symptoms related to anxiety. I believe that family involvement, as well as working with the individual's entire intervention team, is crucial to success in therapy. Working with and involving all stakeholders allows me to best understand the whole individual in order to more effectively meet their needs. I truly enjoy teaching social and emotional skills to students of all ages so that they feel empowered to navigate the world with more confidence and ease.
