Hi! My name is Paarus. I was born and raised in Houston, TX and graduated from University of Houston in 2015 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. I obtained my Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2019. with a concentration Early Intervention. I am fluent in Urdu and English. I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, clinics. home health and early childhood/intervention. I have provided group and individual therapy to children with Autism, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, feeding disorders, emotional disturbance, traumatic brain injury, and childhood apraxia of speech. I have worked with children using a picture exchange communication system, as well as, high tech alternative augmentative communication devices. I have experience performing feeding therapy with children using the SOS approach. I have also worked in a voice clinic treating adults and young adolescents with voice disorders. I have worked with many different disciplines and providers to help provide the best care possible to my clients. I believe in collaborating with all disciplines and parents to help meet a child’s need in all areas of life. My method is a holistic, family-centered, child lead approach for the treatment of my clients. I am here to help you and your child in every way that I can!
