Lauren Osaer MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

My name is Lauren and I am a pediatric occupational therapist! I am also a mother of two and an animal lover! I earned my Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services at Western Michigan University as well as my Master Degree in Occupational Therapy at Western. I also have a Minor in Holistic Health. I understand how important it is to view healthcare holistically, especially in a pediatric population. I am licensed in Michigan and I am registered through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. I am also a licensed and registered PLAY Project Consultant. I have over 5 years hands on experience in an outpatient clinic through a hospital, I have experience working in a private clinic, and I also have experience with home care and assisting parents in parent guided therapy. I am qualified in working with children with various backgrounds and diagnoses. This includes but is not limited to autism, developmental disorders, neuromuscular disorders, cognitive disorders, genetic disorders, sensory processing disorders, feeding disorders, behavioral disorders, and ADHD. I provide consultation, evaluation, and hands on treatment. I work with children and their parents in order to achieve independence. I work with all ages of children from newborn to 18 years old. It is my goal to assist children to live their lives to the fullest. It is my mission to encourage independence and help all kiddos to reach their goals. By providing home care and working with families in their own homes, we are able to achieve these goals in the best nonrestrictive setting. Together with caretakers, we can help kiddos live to their fullest potential.

Lauren is wonderful! We love her so much. She is so patient and kind with our stubborn little eater! She gives us great tips to practice weekly, and engages [my son] each session so well.
Since she has started working with him, he has made such big improvements trying foods and enjoying the tastes/textures.  We are so grateful for her!
