My experience as a speech-language pathologist includes treating young children through early intervention services and school-age children within home, clinic, and school settings. I have a strong interest in delays and disorders related to receptive and expressive language, articulation and phonology, and social language. I create individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions, develop personalized support materials, and collect and document weekly progress. One of the best things about being a speech-language pathologist is seeing a child’s confidence grow as their speech and language skills develop. I am passionate about empowering children to take ownership of their learning while providing them with the support and encouragement they need.
Fun Fact: Each year in May, I enjoy the 5 million vibrant tulips the City of Holland, Michigan plants for their annual Tulip Time festival. As a born and raised “Hollander”, it is one of my favorite times of the year!
